Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager
Reports To: Controller
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities:

Manage the entire accounts payable process
• Add and update all vendor information
• Manage data entry process of the AP Clerk
• Review all invoices for accuracy and process for payment
• Provide payment to vendors via check, ACH or wire
• Manage the month end closing of the AP module
• Ensure all invoices are entered and assist with the accrual process
• Maintain the invoices email and distribute invoices to correct department
• Ensure vendors are paid promptly
• Maintain communication with procurement department on vendor payments and requests
• Review invoices for proper GL Coding
• Prepare 1099’s

Manage the Expense anywhere system for all employees
• Train new employees
• Process payments
• Make updates/changes to system

American Express – Procurement Card
• Manage the card online payment and spreadsheet detail
• Assist site managers with purchase questions
• Communicate with all site managers on coding and approval for payment
• Maintain the spreadsheet and use for the journal entry

Keep in constant communication with Controller and Accounting Manager on any issues
Assist Controller and Accounting Manager on special projects

Job Requirements:
• Associates degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of experience in accounting field
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives, while meeting goals and objectives within tight timelines
• Proficient knowledge of Excel
• Above average written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work over 40 hours a week when asked
