Montauk's Role
The Shade Landfill is owned and operated by Waste Management. Shade is one of three Air Liquide processing plants in the Johnstown, PA area. We own and operate the gas processing facility. The Johnstown area operations are able to share critical spare parts and labor, which increases the efficiency of our operations.
