Montauk's Role
The Rumpke landfill is owned and operated by Rumpke Consolidated. We operate the landfill gas collection system and own and operate the three processing plants within the landfill. The project currently has the largest plant capacity in the Montauk portfolio. A recent pipeline expansion has increased gas storage capacity for the Cincinnati market and the Rumpke facility.
